Anna Silk

Anna Silk is a Canadian actress who was born on the 31st of January 1974. She's best known for her role as Bo from the Showcase Television series Lost Girl. Silk was born in Fredericton New Brunswick Canada. Ilkay, the producer and director of the drama at St. Thomas University, is Silk's mother. The father of Silk, Peter, was an academic. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Anna recalls her mom watching at work and attending play rehearsals. Silk made several commercials while she was still a child. In 1997, she graduated with a bachelor's degree from St. Thomas University. Theatre St. Thomas produced at least Two early productions: Seven Menus, and The Kitchen. Silk moved to Toronto Canada in the month of November of 1999 to continue her acting. After that, she relocated in Los Angeles California during the following decade. Levi Aaron is her second child, and was born on 13th of May in 2016. Silk was nominated in 2009 for the Gemini Awards in her role as Cassidy Holland. In 2009, she was cast as Bo Dennis, the lead role of Bo Dennis in Lost Girl. Silk got pregnant in the course of production of the final season episode. She announced the pregnancy to the fans in a Showcase show's pre-show Season Three special on January 6 2013. Silk tweeted on June 20, 2013 that she is ready to resume working. On June 4, 2013, Showcase and Prodigy Pictures officially declared the start of final season of production.
